I love having freezer meals on hand for those days that I just simply have no idea what to make or haven’t made it to the grocery store yet that week. I’ve tried lots of different ones over the years but the recipes linked below have become some of my favorites.
A lot of these I made before having my baby and it’s been a HUGE help having dinners ready to go. But I also did this long before baby just for the huge convenience factor!
Meals That Require Cooking before Freezing:
Shepherds Pie by the Wholesome Dish
Butternut Squash Soup by Town & Country Living
Jalapeno Bacon Mac & Cheese by Meal Plan Addict
Turkey Chili by Ambitious Kitchen
Freezer Meal Ziplock Packs
These are meals where we’re just dumping all the ingredients in a bag before freezing to later dump into a crockpot or Instant Pot.
White Chicken Chili by Meal Plan Addict – this recipe is found in Steph’s ebook that has other great IP recipes!
Wild Rice Soup by Pinch of Yum (Lindsay has a lot of other great freezer meal ideas to check out)
Slow Cooker Creole Chicken & Sausage by Pinch of Yum
Chicken Marinades by Sweet Peas and Saffron – these are so easy to prep and have been great to have on hand to pop in the Instant Pot. So far we’ve tried Honey Garlic Chicken, Lemon Garlic Chicken, Sun dried Tomato Chicken and Thai Chicken Curry
Snacks:
Blueberry Muffins by Sally’s Baking Addiction
Chocolate Chip Muffins by Sally’s Baking Addiction
Energy Bites by Gimme Some Oven – these are so easy to make and great to keep in the fridge. I doubt they’ll make it to the freezer but can be frozen if you’re prepping them for the future!
My favorite way to store things like soups, Mac and cheese, shepherds pie and so many other things are souper cubes! You can check them out here! (Affiliate link)
